Active Traders Academy was formed to provide traders with a proven and successful approach to making money in the stock market. Based on our extensive experience, we share the knowledge and tools you need to gain a competitive edge. Our mission is to provide premier stock market education and training for people who seek an enriched lifestyle.
Everyone wants to become a successful stock trader. We strongly believe that there is only one way to learn how to consistently make money in the markets and it is to learn the proper techniques from someone who has done it well. Our knowledgeable instructors and training coaches are also stock traders who bring real world trading experience and knowledge to you. You will learn the same professional trading techniques that are used by traders on Wall Street and Bay Street. We teach you how our methodologies and techniques are proven to work in the real financial markets.
Also, we provide a forum where not only will you learn best practices but you can ask questions and share with other classmates. Our classroom based training provides a learning environment suitable for all levels from the novice to the more experienced.

Mike Ser
President
Mike Ser is a Market Technicians Association (MTA) affiliate and independent trader with TEN years of trading experience. He has worked closely with various firms in the financial industry including Venture Capital firms, Brokerage firms, Investor Relations firms, Publicly traded companies, Stock Market Data Providers, Stock Exchanges and Day Trading firms.
Mr. Ser has been featured in magazines and newspapers such as Reuters, SFO magazine, Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities, Inside Market data and Investopedia.com. He has been a sought-after speaker on the subject of Technical Analysis, most recently at the International Traders Expo in Las Vegas.
Mr. Ser holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University and has completed the Canadian Securities Course. Mr. Ser is also a member of the Canadian Society of Technical Analysts (CSTA). He is currently a Level 3 candidate for the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation.
